Just bought an EV? We install Level 2 home chargers and commercial DCFC stations across Northern NJ. Garage, driveway, multifamily lot, fleet depot — we scope it, pull the permit, and get you charging. NJ utility rebate-program experienced.
A Level 2 charger is the standard for EV owners who want to charge at home overnight. It runs on a 240V circuit (like an electric dryer) and delivers 4–10x the speed of a Level 1 charger plugged into a regular outlet.
We install all the major brands: Tesla Wall Connector, ChargePoint Home Flex, Wallbox Pulsar Plus, Grizzl-E, Emporia, JuiceBox, Enphase IQ, and others. If you've already bought the unit, we'll install it. If not, we'll recommend one based on your vehicle, garage layout, and how you want to charge.
NJ utilities (PSE&G, JCP&L, Orange & Rockland, Atlantic City Electric) periodically offer EV charger rebates ranging from $250 to $1,500 depending on the program, customer type, and equipment installed. Programs change throughout the year. We track active rebates and prep the paperwork as part of the install — we don't make you chase it down separately.
Sometimes. A Level 2 charger draws 30–50A. If you're on a 100A service entrance with central AC, electric dryer, electric range, and other major loads, your panel may not have headroom for an EV circuit without a 200A upgrade first. We'll do a load calculation on the estimate visit and tell you straight whether you need the upgrade or whether we can squeeze the EV circuit into your existing panel.
For commercial properties, fleet operations, and multifamily buildings, we install Level 2 and DCFC (Level 3 fast-charging) stations with the full back-end coordination: network connectivity (ChargePoint, EVgo, ABB, etc.), payment systems, load management, and utility service upgrades if needed. Volume installs across multifamily lots and commercial garages are bid project by project — submit a project →.
Residential Level 2 installs typically range from $1,200–$2,500 depending on charger location, conduit run length, and any panel work required. Hardware (the charger itself) is separate — you can buy and we install, or we'll source and install at retail.
Every EV install starts with a $100 estimate visit. We come out, look at your panel and proposed charger location, run a quick load calc, and send you a written quote within 2 business days. The $100 is credited toward the install.
